Shane Lynch Races for Amd and Milltek
Celebrity driver Shane Lynch to drive Milltek-sponsored SEAT Leon FR 2.0T in this weekend's Dunlop SportMaxx Cup at Donington this Sunday - 29 July 2008
Boyzone star and motor racing enthusiast Shane Lynch is to drive the Milltek Sport / AmD Essex-sponsored 210bhp SEAT Leon FR in Class B of the Dunlop SportMaxx Cup.
Not only has Shane competed in the British GT Championship but he also currently participates in the Eurodrift and EDC series.
Milltek Sport sponsors a number of cars in the Dunlop SportMaxx series but the SEAT Leon FR is the only car that is driven by a number of journalists and celebrities throughout the season. This car came 1st and 2nd last time out at Castle Combe driven by Track and Racecar journalist John Hayman so Shane has alot to live up to!
Just 1 point seperates the top 4 drivers in the Dunlop Sportmaxx Cup with AmDs' SEAT Cupra driven by Shaun Hollamby currently holding 2nd place overall but its anybodys championship with 6 races to go.
